Its unique geology, flora and fauna has led to the classification of protected areas within the Natural Park. Here 750 different plant species and 200 bird species are known to exist. This is a great region to see cliff-nesting storks and for its position in the migratory corridor. White storks are emblematic in the Alentejo. Nesting on every electricity and telephone pole, church tower or tall tree, they are very visible inland. By the sea they are a lot more discreet, they defy wind and waves to build them on top of the rocky islets, though white storks do not fish.

We are located in the coastal region of Alentejo. It is approximately 3 km from Carvalhal Beach and Zambujeira Do Mar.
